Audrius Gražys' art gallery is a personal gallery of the well-known painter, installation artist, and scenographer. "I was born into the family of actors Bronius Gražys and Nijolė Narijauskaitė. Before studying acting, my father dreamed of becoming a painter. Therefore, it’s no surprise that my first teacher was my father. Our home was always full of guests – actors, painters, musicians, and my father's and mother's students. I gained my first knowledge of art history at home – my father would present his collection to new guests. He would talk about the beginning of the collection, how it grew, about painting styles, coloristics, and composition. Of course, at that age, and seeing so many works, I couldn't quite assess which ones I liked more. But those that held more mystery and required interpretation always captured my attention. These were abstract paintings. And that remains to this day. I am interested in how color and stain, their harmony or disharmony, can affect the viewer."
